Dear friends,
We just wanted to give you a quick update on how things are going. In November last year we passed the £200,000 mark for funds raised since 2008 and thanks to you, 84 nurses have been trained, 50 community health workers and 260 Safe birthing kits have been distributed.......

We aim to work in partnership with rural communities in the developing world who want to develop the health care in their villages.
We sponsor selected village candidates through professional health training to help provide a lasting rural health care system.
Our current project is to sponsor nurse training to state registered nurse level (3 years) in Cameroon, West Africa.
We are working with our established partners and SHUMAS (a hardworking NGO in Cameroon).

Since 2008 we have sponsored 65 students. 47 are now qualified and working in village communities and 18 more are currently in training
Every year there are increasing applications as SpreadingHealth becomes more widely known.

Sr Delphine says: “The population are very poor, they can't pay to get there (hospital) so they die at home. The sisters keep pigs to help cover the costs of treatment at our health centre.”
